The Division Library is a repository of links, files, and videos used for templates and term classes. Resources contained in Templates are automatically added to the library. It is good practice when building a class to add a new resource to the library first so that the resource is easily available for future use. Resources in the division library are shared between designers associated with the division.
Access the library by clicking on the Library button in the upper menu.
When the library screen opens, you can select from different division libraries, based on your division membership. Use the filters to search for specific resources by name or resource type.
To add a new resource to the library, click the Add new resource button.
The add resource screen will open and you can upload a file, enter a web link, or upload or record a video.
After a resource is in the library, it can be viewed and edited by using the icons associated with the resource. The icon in the status column will open the resource. The Pencil icon will open an edit screen, the trash can will delete the resource, and the download icon will download the file.
The Clipboard icon will display the list of classes using the resource.
Items in the resource library can be deleted if the resource is not being used, and only by the Institution Admin or the Designer who added the item to the library.
