In a document submission activity, you will upload a document to YouSeeU. This may be for instructor grading, peer interaction, or both. Read the specific instructions for the purpose of the activity. Your educator may want you to submit the document so he can review it and give text or video feedback. It may also be for a grade. You may also submit a document so you can work together with a group of your classmates to review each other’s work and give feedback.
To begin the activity, open YouSeeU. (Be sure to give yourself enough time to complete the activity before the due date!) With the activity open, begin by reading the Instructions. The instructions will give you details about the activity and how to complete it. In addition to the instructions, your educator may include a video with the activity instructions. Watch the Activity Overview video.
Once you understand the instructions of the activity, you are ready to submit your document. To upload your file, click Chose File.
Navigate to your document. Select it and click Open.
The maximum file size is 100 MB. You can upload these file types: doc, docx, xls, xlsx, pdf, txt, rtf, jpg, jpeg, png, bmp, html, htm, and zip.
The document name will appear to the right of the button. Verify that it is the correct document and click Upload.
You will receive a message in a green bar indicating that the document was successfully submitted as you are directed to the Evaluation page. The Evaluation page is where you will view and interact with your peer’s documents. You will also see the grade for your document.
Next to your document you will see a trashcan up to the due date. You are able to delete and upload a different document if needed.
To review your peer’s submissions you click View.
The Document Info will open. You can see the name of the person who submitted the document and when it was uploaded.
To download the file, click DOWNLOAD.
To preview the document, click Show.
To comment on the document enter your text into the Add Comment box and click Add.
Click Back when you are finished.
