Your instructor has the option to configure the Sync Meeting space to allow you to invite participants outside of your class and your school or university. Below are the instructions on how to do this for the Sync Activity.
You will need to begin by scheduling the Sync Meeting. After clicking the quicklink in your Brightspace content, click the Schedule button. Next, you will choose the date and time that you wish to hold your meeting. Please note that Sync Meetings must be scheduled at least five minutes in advance.
You will then be allowed to invite both external and internal participants. Click on Invite meeting participants to select members of your class to invite to your sync meeting. For external invitations, copy and paste the link in an email and send it to the participants you wish to invite that are not in your class. This will give them access to the meeting. We recommend that you also send them the date, and time that the meeting will be held in the same email.
