The YouSeeU system manages user accounts through setup of Institutions and Divisions.
Institutions are the highest level of organization and are typically named for the specific college or university. It is possible for specialized organizations within a university to have their own institution if licensing arrangements or LMS integration factors are unique for the sub-organization.
Divisions are sub-organizations within Institutions. They are used to manage Designer accounts and resource libraries within YouSeeU. For example, the Speech Communication Department can be identified as a division so that their resource library can contain learning assets specific to their discipline. Designer accounts must be associated with one Division, but they can also be associated with multiple divisions if the designer serves multiple sub-organizations within the institution.
