The Template function is specific to the designer role. Templates are available for situations involving multiple sections of the same class or the use of our Auto Class Creation process through LMS integration. Setting up a template is similar to the class creation process with the exception of using the Auto Date function and the LMS template field.
Click on the Template button in the main header then the Create new template button.
Next, select the appropriate division for this template. You may only have one division option. If you need to create a template for a division not in the drop down options then contact your Institution Admin or email Help@YouSeeU.com to become associated with the correct division.
Hide student profiles – student profile pictures display but student profile pages are hidden.
Payment types – the options available to you are dependent on institutional agreement. Self enroll is used when LMS integration is not in place, requiring students to complete registration process. Auto Enroll is for institutions with LMS integration. Student paid is used when student subscriptions are used and institution paid is used when licensing agreement with the institution is in place.
Package – the packages are associated with your institution and control cost (if student subscriptions are used) and storage space per student. Discuss package types with your institution admin or the YouSeeU support team if you have unique requirements.
Start at and Stop at – should correspond to your class term. Students can not access the YouSeeU before the start date and four weeks after the stop date. Select a date and enter a time.
Note – Template dates can be specific to a term or set to use a date pattern. Start by setting specific dates to create the template then adjustments can be made later to take advantage of our Auto Date feature.
